At Honey Bee Academy, we believe that summer should be a season filled with excitement and discovery, and we’ve curated a range of activities that promise to engage and delight our little ones.
Outdoor Adventures
The warm weather provides the perfect backdrop for outdoor activities. Our spacious backyard becomes a playground for exploration and creativity. Children can enjoy nature, where they learn about local plants and insects, and participate in scavenger hunts that sharpen their observation skills. Water play days are a highlight, featuring our splash pad, water tables, and fun games that keep everyone cool and entertained.
Creative Arts and Crafts
Creativity blossoms during our arts and crafts sessions. Using a variety of materials, the children express their imaginations through painting, drawing, and crafting. Each week, we introduce a new theme, from ocean life to outer space, inspiring the children to explore different concepts and ideas through their art. Get ready to start adding to their collection!
Science and Exploration
At Honey Bee Academy, we nurture curious minds with hands-on science experiments. Whether it’s making simple volcanoes, exploring the properties of water, or understanding how plants grow, our activities are designed to be both educational and fun. These experiments help foster a love for science and encourage critical thinking from a young age.
Story Time and Learning
Our story time sessions are a favorite among the children. We gather around for captivating tales that transport us to different worlds and introduce us to diverse characters. Each story time is followed by interactive discussions and activities related to the story, enhancing comprehension and language skills.

Couple of Quick Reminders and Updates:
Please send your child in closed toe shoes - sneakers preferably - NO Crocs (sorry, I know they are easy but they trip with those more than you know)
If you haven't yet - don't forget to bring in your change of clothes, swim gear, a towel, bug spray and sunscreen.
SPLASH DAY!!!
Will be on Wednesdays and MAYBE Fridays!
You will know if we have SPLASH day and ask for the children to be picked up after 430p, this ensures that they had an opportunity to play and participate as well as changed and ready to go home.
Upcoming Events
Closed for the 4th
In observance of Independence Day, we are closed. It is on a funky mid-week day - but we will reopen on Friday the 5th for our littles!

We still have ONE opening - preferably for an infant, but we are open to who needs care.
Send us your referral and receive one week off tuition, after the family completes one month of care.

We have ONE full time opening coming up! I know the two families on our waitlist need two spaces, so unless something extraordinary occurs, we do not foresee any other openings until Summer 2025.
