Spreading germs are one of the TOP concerns of parents. Listen, children (especially under two years of age) WILL put a toy in their mouth! That is essentially how they learn. They are just using ALL of their senses. See, Feel,...does it make noise? Hear, you might even catch that they have sniffed it, Smell but needless to say....does this thing
TASTE good?! Can I eat it? LOL
Below are a few things we share with our littles that you can too!
Teach children the importance of washing their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after playing with toys.
Educate children on the importance of covering their faces with a tissue or elbow when coughing or sneezing and discarding of the tissue immediately. Washing hands afterward.
Remind children to avoid touching their eyes, nose, and mouth.
Discourage children from sharing drinks, food, or personal items.
Encourage children to keep a safe distance away from people who are coughing or sneezing.
